Python database web application

I'm sorry for the general title, but I'm looking to build a website where I have a database that stores a bunch of info, and when someone goes to the site, they input their zip code, which calls the database and brings up data from the database that relates to their location. I have the most experience working with Python, so I guess my question is how is the best way to do this?

Is Django something I should use, or could this be done simply using csv/JSON files? Again, I'm terribly sorry for the general questions. I've only been doing Python for a few months now, and I'm just overwhelmed with all the potential options, and I don't know the best place to start. Thank you.
