How to embed Word/PDF onto a website seamlessly?

I'm looking to embed the contents (text, images, equations) of a Word document (/PDF converted) onto a (my own) website. The goals are as follows: to (1) preserve all content (text, img, eq, etc); (2) have no embed traces; (3) allow content highlighting (for right-clicking). All solutions I've seen up to this point fail with (2); borders, scrollbars, backgrounds, etc are usually visible, and Word/PDF isn't seamlessly integrated into the website as needed.

Can it be done? I'm willing to learn a programming language/web design if necessary (C++, HTML, etc).
