Property management website

I’m currently creating a property management website for landlords and tenants. It’s a university project and I’m currently in the planning stage.

When a user signs up to the site they will be provided with a personal home page where they can manage their registered properties. I’m having trouble figuring out how to create a personal web environment when someone signs up. Does anyone have any solutions/ideas? Or keywords I can search to find a solution?
