Obtaining List of Papers by Certain Author from PubMed Database?

I'm creating a website for a professor at my university, and as part of the creation process I've been asked to see if I can display a list of scholarly papers he has authored. He has quite a lot and I figure it would be tedious to write it all out so I decided to pursue using the PubMed database's API to obtain the list serverside.

However, how would I do this? The web server I will be hosting the website on does not support PHP. Would it be best to hard-code it in and just teach the professor how to add a new entry each time he gets a paper published? Or is there an alternative way.
