Initialize Framework7 Dom and make it only accessible in a div

Is it possible to initialize Dom7 and make the new variable access only elements of a certain div. Example, expected:

var $$ = Dom7("#mydiv");

Then make all Dom calls from this $$ be available only in mydiv, e.g:

$$("#element").attr("href");

Will work nly if element is inside
