How to show screenshots with sub-pixel rendering on the web?

When taking screenshots of UI or webpages on my MacBook with Retina display, the text in the screenshots look like this:

Due to sub-pixel rendering, the text is displayed with weird colors on the edges of letters when enlarged. It may look good if the viewer watches it at exactly the original size and has exactly the same sub-pixel layout as on the device where the screenshots was taken , but then if they zoom or simply rotate their device to landscape mode the sub-pixel layout changes and the image looks bad.

Is there a way to inform the browser on the properties of the image so that it is rendered "normally" when the pixel layout matches the screenshot's source and in a different way when it does not?
