Feedback and Suggestions - Web API OData V4 Entity Framework

I am asked to build an API Service using Micorosoft technologies using REST architectural style. It will serve global user base with instances in multiple geography. I am thinking of using web api with OData V4 and Entity Framework. Is there a better option available. I have done a POC and its looks good. Please share your experiences and suggestions.
