Up-to-date solution to break china's firewall?

China's firewall http://ift.tt/1R8t0NU blocks internal access to some websites, say, google, facebook.

I live in the US and want to set up a service for my friends in China to bypassing GFW. I have a Asus RT-N16 router and also open to any hack.

The problem is Chinese government will upgrade the software all the time. What's the current (Feb 16) proven solution to have such a service?
