How do I send a HTTP/2 POST request in ruby

I am trying to use the new Apple push notification HTTP/2 based API described here: http://ift.tt/1NO8nVJ

I found the http-2 ruby gem but the documentation isn't clear about how to make requests as a client: http://ift.tt/15vklDc

Can anyone with HTTP/2 experience help me with making a request as a client in Ruby/Rails.
