Icons are aliased on light background but fine on dark background

Please help me understand what's wrong with the icon I have. I use the icon as sprite (PNG-24 with transparency) on a website. On light background it's aliased and on dark background it is ok, the screenshots and the icon are here. What has to be done to fix this?
