Extracting certain text from an asp. Net page

I hope that this question has not been asked before. So I have a school site that teachers are able to post homework and other notes. It's a real pain to login every time just to see what's new. What my question is, I's would I be able to access the asp net page and be able to copy new text that would tell me if a new assignment was posted. Just a thought.Thanks
