Need help imrpoving database entry / viewing

Question for you developers. I’m not a programmer, so I simply need pointed in the right direction to get my problem sorted out.

I work for an organization that employs close to 1,500 individuals. Every month, our employees submit reports. These include numbers of towns visited, contacts made, etc. (Strictly numbers, not really any additional details).

I have all of this data organized in Microsoft Access. All of the employees are in one table, and their monthly reports are in another table. I pull reports regularly and submit them to my bosses. Access has been a great tool to organize and store all of the data, but I’m needing to explore ways to deploy the data that I have.

I want to be able to do several things. 1) I would like to be able to access this data from the web. For instance, if my boss needed to pull up an employee, he could quickly look up on his phone or computer this employee’s “file”. It would include a picture, the employee’s job application, the employee’s monthly numbers, and a PDF of every yearly review.

2) As I mentioned above, the employees have a yearly review and I would like the resulting review form to be placed in the employee’s “file.” These are first printed out and given to the supervisors, and then they are returned to me for filing after the yearly review is finished. Is there a way to somehow print off a QR code on each review form so that when I scan them back into our system they are automatically placed in each employee’s electronic file?

I am not sure if there is some application or software that could do what I’m wanting? Or are there capabilities of Access that I haven’t explored that would allow me to do this? I would appreciate any insight.
