Handling attachments at Python Client

How do I handle an attachment sent by server in reply of my GET command? I want to store the file at client's disk.

It seems I can only write what is returned by the server in the form of prints to a file. What does python offer in order to handle these attachments? I am using pycurl library. Can someone please help out?
