Can we Generate this even is our JSP code is small in size ? Exception : _jspService is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit

Please do not mark this question as Duplicate as I don't want what others are asking as I already know the solution. I am curious about the root cause

two days back I went for core java interview where the interviewer asked me below question

Q- JSP programme is nothing but java programme in the background so There exception occurs in a _jspService method that is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit. Do you why it occurs?

Me - (I was very happy as a few days back I have faced the same issue and I have resolved with help of StackOverflow ) when I said its cause the java/jsp code written in that particular jsp has become huge and to resolve that we can divide our code into multiple jsp's and include them (that's what I did and it resolve my issue)

HE: no

he was saying that code is just a few lines in jsp and still, there is error.

Then I was not having answers as I don't know whether it is really possible that this error could occur without code size become huge?

Could anybody Excepts of JSP, servlet can help?
