Spotify Web API State_Mismatch Error from callback

I tried to piggyback in another question that someone already posted which is exactly the same as this one and got down voted for "distracting" SOOOOO at the risk of creating a duplicate question (which is what I was trying to avoid) I have the same question as:

spotipy auth workflow results in error=state_mismatch in browser

I am getting the #error=state_mismatch from the callback in the Spotify API tutorial found here: http://ift.tt/1DPpZNg

Can someone help me (very plainly, I'm new to APIs) understand why this error is happening and what I need to do to fix it. I am just trying to return the current song info that my account is listening too.

Any help would be very awesome.
