Java and MySql host: public domain from localhost port?

I have to make this project in java which uses MySql, it's already working locally, but now I have to upload it so it's executed from a public ip as if it was working locally. What host should I hire and what steps should I do after I get my ip to execute the site like I'm doing when I run my main class in eclipse?
