How much Javascript skills you need for AngularJS? [on hold]

I am an intermediate web programmer and have the basic understanding of PHP,HTML and Javascript.

I know the basics syntax,arrays,loops,conditions and objects of Javascript.

Is it the right time for me to dig into AngularJS or should I spend more time with javascript before learning the frameworks?

Is it difficult to learn?
