Contact Facebook to transfer Login app ownership?

I am revamping a website for my client. The website has Facebook Login implemented. Currently, there is an error when trying to login into the website using Facebook Login.

The the Facebook Login is implemented by the previous developer three years ago. And my client has lost contact with the developer.

Is there a way for me to contact Facebook for help to transfer the ownership of the Facebook Login app from the previous developer to me?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
