Best practices for storing text information for a web site

I've got a task at the university to make a basic blog with posts, comments and accounts. I've got the basic layout and stuff, but I don't know how am I supposed to store and organize large amounts of text - blog posts and comments. Should I use a data base? And, if so, which one? Or, maybe there're other ways? The website is built with ASP.NET MVC and will be deployed on Azure
