Interview and ask me about SOA architecture?

In a recent interview, i got this question

Please describe your knowledge/experience with Service Oriented Architecture tools and web services development

Even i am experienced developer with good knowledge in server side/client side tools and languages, i really do not know the answer to this question.

can anyone tell me what to say if this kind of question comes up?
