How to send SMS from web app via android mobile?

I have web app written in php hosted on server. Whene I open this web app in mobile web browser on Android I would like to have possibility to send SMS from my web app using Android resources.

How to get access to Android resources to send SMS from my web app opened on mobile web browser? If it is, how? I heard that it's possible do that using javascript but I cannot find solution.
