Searching for an alternativ documentation for Symfony Routing Component

I am new to symfony and templating in php. I just tried to implement the routing component from symfony into my new boilerplate. (http://ift.tt/1n6kYYL)

I read the documentation and still don't know how to set it up. I don't know what files have to be created.

Does anyone know if there exists another documentation or can help me to get the routing component running?

I am really stuck with my knowledge and wouldn't ask if I had another option. So please be gently.
