Show name in the online signature list (Like a Petition)

I would like to ask for your help, I am trying to show the user's names when they fill in the name field to participate in a survey/request, it is to complete a form field, which is simple to do in HTML, I thought of making an array in JavaScript where to store the names they receive from that field when filled in by the users. The thing is that I do not know if there is a much simpler way.
