How to use wordpress for same project development within a team [duplicate]

My team of 6 members is making an eCommerce website with WordPress using plugins like woocommerce, wcfm, elementor, etc. But we are facing a huge issue in collaborating as we are all building it on our own localhost so how can we merge the updates one made.

We are at initial stages of our development and merging now to a central host would ease our collaboration. I searched and got this quora thread (https://www.quora.com/How-can-a-team-work-on-a-single-WordPress-project-with-each-team-member-working-from-their-own-local-machines) where some steps were described to follow but we need help to understand that in detail in execution.

We will be thankful if anyone can guide us to effectively collaborate using our localhosts itself and is the complete merge done in that method??

Methods we tried are: using online free web hosting servcies like 000webhost, inifnityfree and one or two more but all of them show critical error when installing some plugins and have limited disk space ranging from 500 mb to 3 gb.

Method we are looking at:

USing Ngrok for doing the same - I read it somewhere that ngrok can be used to do so but I couldnt figure out as I havent used it.

Using WP Pusher plugin with git.

and our last and seemingly easy option is to buy a domain and host at around 1.32 dollars on Godaddy.

BUt we need help that which one will be easy and best for us. We want to save time

Also like if we use wordpress on hosts like godaddy so will we be able to download our project as whole folder or zip file after completion because we have all the folders on localhost and we can access that folder on localhost but do we have access t view or download the folder where our files are stored on the webhost.

Suggestions are very valuable to us.

Regards, Peter Williamson
