Using href for a file on localhost inside the project?

I am running an annotation task with Turkle and everyone should download set of processed html files and then run Turkle to view them on their local-host.

The issue is, I do not know where these files will be located and what link to use. Each annotator can use different directories to put these html files. Some may use Windows, some may use Linux or Mac.

Is there a way, to put these html files in my source project and access it from there?
