I'm trying to make a web app translator, as a personal project, not a school project. I'm new to javacript and everything that is web related. I'm using the IBM watson translating node-sdk service. I can get the translated text but I cannot assign it to a variable. I read online about promises and async await, but whatever I do, it always returns a pending promise. I've been had it for a week and I'm thinking about giving up this project and focus on looking for another one. Can someone give me a hint?
