Is there a way to fill in a web application using java?

so I want java to fill in a web application and to get the output of that.

the web application that has to be filled in

at url it has to fill in : /api the body: {"devicetype":"my_hue_app#iphone peter"} and press post

after that you get an output then the code has to get that output.
