How can i make code for counter in an eshop items?

I'm studying web developing at my university and I have a problem with this exercise. "The user will be able to add an item to his cart, declare a purchase quantity, and proceed to the purchase of the item. At the same time the stock will be reduced to the bottom". How can i make this??? I have been included my tries code below.
