Redirecting POST requests to naked domain

I'm hosting a webapp on pythonanywhere and decided to to purchase a domain from namecheap.

I configured the CNAME entry and redirection from the naked domain to the full domain.

It works ok for GET requests, but my app also listens to POST requests. When I'm sending a POST request to the naked domain, it is forwarded as a GET request.

I have the following entries in namecheap:

• GET requests work as expected to both http://www.example.com and http://example.com

• POST requests only work to http://www.example.com. If POST to http://example.com I see a GET request on the server log
