Deep Link. Many Browsers to windows application. Handle when not exists Url-Scheme

I am implementing a web page which has, among other things, a redirection link to a desktop application in .net. I am using deep-linking for this. Everything works fine, now I need to know in some way when this application does not have a registered url-scheme. I read that for Android there is the url_fallback, or something like that; but in windows I do not know if this works, as with other browsers that are not chrome.

Any information you have about this would be very supportive. Equally if it is not possible. regards
