I have to create a web datebase with Access web apps (even it's not supported anymore). My problem is, that there must be a SQL database backend, which forces me to use AWA 2013 or higher (correct me if I'm wrong).
Although I have Sharepoint 2013, my Access is in version 2010. Is it nevertheless possible to create an AWA 2013? Do I in general need Access Desktop to build an AWA or is it independent?
Let's say it works and in a few years my company upgrades to Sharepoint 2016/2019. Can I still use my Access web app locally with version 2016 or 2019?
