PHP Help (further details below) [on hold]

I am working on a project for school at the minute. I am creating a web app that handles food orders for a restaurant. The image below shows how far I have gotten so far. (please ignore the styling I am just getting the functionality to work first) Basically, as you can see in the left column it is pulling orders in from a database. I am wondering how I could change these text orders into clickable buttons. Once the button is clicked, the order details are displayed in the right hand column (what they have ordered, etc). Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?
