How can i add a Close Button functionality in a Browser-Window?

I have a Browser Window wich need a Close-Button. With this Button the actual/active Tab must be closed. Have someone an Idea how coud this work ? I have try it with javascript , but with javascript can i close only Browser-Tabs/Windows wich are opened with javascript !
