I am running into some problems when setting up a web server on my Raspberry Pi 3 model B. I am using a simple NGINX web server.
First issue was that my operator is blocking the default port 80. I was able to work around that part and set up my web server on port 90 instead.
So, what I have done up until now:
1) NGINX installed, default server listening port changed to 90.
2) My router has been set up for port forwarding (port 90 and RPi's IP address). My RPi is currently connected via ethernet cable to the router.
3) I have created a simple HTML landing page, and I am able to access it from my laptop on the LAN network.
However, when I try to access the web page from outside of LAN, my page fails to load. (via http://ift.tt/2s3f2Ye)
