Least vulnerable forum app/platform

My team and I have built a Laravel app a year ago, and it got pretty huge (feature and database wise)

The company that we've built it for is now asking from us to integrate a forum app (that should use the same accounts/sessions/cookies as our web app) of their choice but in a very short deadline (let's say 2 days for the sake of this topic).

We don't really have the time to build that forum fully right now, and they've encouraged us to use a popular (already built solution). Like vbulletin, phpBB etc.

So now we are concerned, about the safety of the model attributes we are passing to the forum app.

We have a "wallet" integrated, and I don't really feel comfortable seeing vbulleting getting exposed every week or so.

Is there a forum solution that would work good with laravel while not being vulnerable?
