Weird colour rendering in Chrome after macos Sierra

I have noticed very weird colour rendering in Chrome after upgrading to macos Sierra. It tends to be large blocks of solid colour that display weirdly.

Is this my Macbook Air at fault, or must I wait for Google/Chrome to fix the issue? It's making want to use a different browser. Alternatively should it be my job as a web developer to ensure that my sites look fine?
