PHP load url/php file with parameter

Quick question, I am developing a simple website using PHP, HTML and CSS. I was wondering if it's possible (preferably using PHP) to call another php file (i.e page) while passing it a parameter.

For example load next.php with parameter int...if parameter is 1, do something, if 2 do something else...etc.
