Winginx where is the folder for my index.php and index.html?

there is a folder called: C:/Winginx/home/localhost/public_html but if I create a new folder under localhost for e.x. C:/Winginx/home/localhost/test and if I put a index.html or index.php file in it, it doesn't work to open the site. Like in the browser: localhost/test/index.php

Could anybody help me? Thanks
