Embedding Google Maps and automating location sharing feature through the browser?

first post here and looking for an answer from awesome programmers!

I'm currently running a delivery business and planning on adding a new feature for my customers to enjoy the benefits of.

I live in the Middle-east. The streets here are not very "delivery-friendly" without a phone call by us to the customer and asking about their exact location.

I'm a bit familiar with programming, C++/Java, nothing too complicated but when it comes to web programming I'm a noob. So, I may end up hiring a professional programmer to do this for me. However, the purpose of this post is to know whether the feature I'm thinking of implementing is actually do-able! Here it is:

  1. The customer visits the website and chooses the items
  2. S/he is directed to the checkout page containing the delivery information fields
  3. The customer has 2 options here:
    • Enter the information the traditional way (i.e. street name, house no., etc.) ---> Pointless in my situation
    • A an embedded Google Maps window is in the side of the page, the customer clicks on his exact house location then clicks "Submit"
  4. A link of the exact location through Google Maps is sent to my email
  5. Delivery takes place seamlessly

Can this be done? Thanks!
