Deploying a Django website to Google Sites

Sorry for the newbie question, but I've been working on this Django project locally for a while now and I think I'm ready to have it up on the web. I was looking to buy a domain from Google Sites, and I've been reading the Django documentation on how to deploy my application to a web host, but I have a couple of questions.

1. Can you deploy a Django website to Google Sites? If not, what is a good framework to use for deployment to Google Sites?
2. Will deploying the app to Google Sites still give me access to the Django administrator page? If so, how do I navigate to it?

I've only ever done web development on localhost (not a professional, just something I've been studying on the side while working in an entirely different field altogether) so hosting is quite foreign to me. Thanks in advance!
