3rd party payment gateways for a web sales portal [on hold]

I have a potential client who wants a sales portal built for his business.

my general plan is to wrap a pretty UI with angular around a 3rd party payment gateway for credit cards or a bank acct.

Is there an industry standard that's pretty stable and has support?
