What should I learn to make a Google I/O 2015 page like transition web page

I really like Google 2015 I/O website , I knew it use timezone.js and polymer, so is polymer the secret that google make a suck cool site? What is the technique to make this site? I've google lots of keywords but can't find any that can tell me how to do this, plz help me, thanks a lot.
