What are the internet speed requirements for a web server?

When you access a webpage you need a good download speed for it to load fast. I want to make a website and need all this phpmyadmin configurations and a good storage space for the handle of the users and I am too deep into doing it in my computer to remember it when buying online hosting. I have no trouble using my computer as server but I have like .7 Mbit/s or something for upload speed and I don't know how much it matters. You can see the speed test here.

I am looking to handle around 500 users at the same time, I have a MacBook mid-2012 16gb 1333 RAM, 480Gb ssd and 2.5 intel i5, does it work like a decent server?
