Using OpenCV and Python for AR(augmented Reality) for a WEB application

I am a newbie to this area of AR in WEB APP.I am totally confused whether I can use OpenCV and Python for a web App.I tried finding relevant sources online but no luck.How do I integerate it with web app?

I need some guidance here.I have been assigned this task of AR in a web app as my intern project.Please do help.
