Update Web Application UI when changes occur in Database without Page reload

i have a web application created with C# and ASP.Net i use MongoDB database, While any update takes place in the database it should get updated immediately into the UI screen without page reload. and i don't like to use some continues page reload at certain time interval. is there any way to come up with this type of scenario ?
