How do I run javascript code onto an URL to get a new URL

Let's say I have a webpage, I'll create a new URL object with it, then I'll run some javascript code that'll change the page / redirect to an other page, and with the URL object I have, I'll be able to read the HTML of the modified / redirected page.

How do I do this?
