How ready for Web Development will you be after you complete Codeacademy's web developer program?

I'm a beginner programmer who recently decided to work with computers in order to fulfill a lifetime passion I have had with them. Like many others, I stumbled across CodeAcademy and have embarked on the "Web Developer Skills" program that they start you off with.

My question is, will this fully prepare you for Web development to the point where you could be a paid professional, or is it best to supplement this with their in-depth html, java, angularjs etc.. courses? My aspirations, naive as they may be, are to be cutting edge in computer systems and programming, pushing forward rather than making a career based on selling templates.

Any feedback regarding this would be greatly appreciated!
