is there a way to track/tally the websites you have visited on any browser?

Out of personal interest, I am curious to determine how many times I visit various websites per day. I would like to count the number of times that I visit the same url (e.g, www.nytimes.com). I sometimes use different browsers so I would like to count the number of times I visit a url regardless of the browser that I am using.

Is there a way to do this on a mac? My efforts at googling this question have not been helpful.
