Is there any option to manage my domain without cpanel

I own a domain and I want to know how do I take control of it with out cpanel as I am a student and testing things and I don't want to do any type of payment I needed a help in that how I host my website over my domain. I know I can you DNS with ngrok but I don't have a extra pc to run it 24/7. It could also be helpful if you can provide me with alternatives to cpanel which are free
