My website, https://crosslink.ae/, has been fluctuating since 2 days in Google search engine results. Meaning, one second it shows in the search results, the next minute(s), it doesn't. Please note that when it doesn't show up in chrome, it shows up in incognito mode of chrome. And sometimes, it doesn't show up in either. This problem has been with only Google Search. It shows up alright in other search engines.
Another thing to note is that all other pages of my website are indexed and show up on Google.
I have read up a bit on the Google Deindexing bug that transpired in April 2019, but so far, there has not been a confirmation anywhere that it's happening again. What's the possible fix to this?
I must also mention that I had briefly used the removals tools in Search Console. Under "Temporary removals," I had included http://www.crosslink.ae/forum/, in late December last year (the status is removal expired). Now, /forum
technically is just a ghost link folder on Google as we'd deleted it from the database. We redirected all of /forum
and its subfolders to our homepage. Now, under "Outdated Content" in GSC Removals, I had included a link https://crosslink.ae/forum/archive.php?c19a94=nobodies-level-5 a few months back, and this link redirected to the homepage. The homepage of my website showed just fine. A few days back, I casually resubmitted it again, which could have been a mistake from my part as I wasn't aware if Google took the archived /forum
link or the actual redirected link, which is to the homepage, to remove. The webpage is fully indexable and there is no robots.txt, noindex restriction. Google says its indexable.
Bottomline is, my website is now fluctuating and people may or may not find it, which is quite deleterious to the website traffic inflow. I have submitted for indexing the URL in GSC time and again but the problem persists. Any solutions will be appreciated.
